Here is some info
Isolated. Mysterious. Alluring. All descriptors of Albany, Western Australia and the sound of a band within: Liz Dexic.
Forming in 2019, this dynamic four-piece blend haunting melodic vocals with wavering guitar and a versatile rhythmic undercurrent. Liz Dexic strive to create music that directs mood; from simmer to eruption.
Being situated in a small coastal town, original music is a rarity. This helped urge the band to stand on their own and not cater to any particular scene.
While the band set no limitations, their initial sound was built through countless influences like System Of A Down, Incubus, Paramore, The Beatles, Devin Townsend, Deftones and more.
Debut single ‘Face Of The World’ marks the beginning of Liz Dexic’s recordings. The song depicts the perpetual expectations within a modern world; encapsulated in melancholy.
A follow-up single is due later in 2020.
